“The girls are back in town”
Early summer, the giant orb weavers hatch from egg sacs carefully stored by their mothers the summer before. They are welcome to live above the porch and in the eaves of my studio; rewarding my hospitality each morning with newly woven silken orbs, anchored by long threads that glisten with morning dew. The daily changing gallery fascinates and inspires me. This series is my homage to these girls of summer.

Creating 2D sculptural images of unseen mindscapes is a series I began in 2014 that has long captured my attention. I enjoy fooling the eye creating depth where none exists.

Do you like the art you see?
Great! As a group, we lease our art and sell our portfolios. We would be happy to talk with you about how we can provide high-quality art in your residential or corporate environment. Additionally, all our group activities complement and enhance the exhibiting, publishing, licensing and selling activities that we do as individual artists.
Are you interested in joining 19 on Paper?
Based on the group’s size and composition, we invite artists to be members. After an informal discussion about interests and expectations, those invited are asked to share a representative set of their paper-based work, a resume highlighting their artistic experience, and any other material that could assist with the group’s membership decision. Since we value exchange, collaboration, and continuity, consistent participation in our monthly meetings and group activities is an important membership commitment.
